Developed by WB Games Montréal, Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.
Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, players will meet many important characters for the first time and forge key relationships.

All I can say is this is his opinion. Gameplay is just as good as the predecessor. The story us awesome. The reviewer doesn't realize that this isn't a Batman origin story, it is a Batman-Joker origin story. He needs to go back to the beginning where the news report asks everybody to stay indoors. This is Gotham. Who the hell would be out late there anyway, especially in the sh**ty part of the city? No real înnovation but still awesome. I would give an 8.8. Hopefully people don't not try this game out because of this lowish rating. If you liked the first two, this is a must play.
